Bio

 

Emily cut her teeth on Alaskan stages before receiving the top audition scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (NYC). Upon graduation, she booked acting work in Off-Broadway, Regional, and Touring productions, as well as instructing Voice and Speech warm-ups for her Alma Mater. In 2019, she provided the English Dubbed voice of 'Pilar' on the Netflix International hit, “Money Heist."

 

In 2018, she was a principal dancer for the Los Angeles Theater Alliance's Ovation Awards, hosted by J.K. Simmons and Alexandra Billings.

 

Her regional credits include roles at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, The Hennepin Theater Trust, The Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Dinner Show, and the Cherokee Historical Association, where she was awarded “Excellence in Performance” (2013).

Off-Broadway, she played in the long running musical, “Pinkalicious,” later reprising her role at Cyrano's Playhouse in Anchorage, AK. 

 

Emily has performed as a UCLA guest artist, both individually, and in conjunction with Post Mortem Movement Theater, with whom she's served as a principal company member, and a former Artist-in-Residence at the Annenberg Community Beach House.

 

She has contributed and collaborated on new works with Kyle Newachek's Wonk Inc., Hyperborea Pictures, Ripple Effects Artists, Post Mortem Movement Theater, and the Rhombus Ensemble where she served as Associate Producer for the World Tour of "Your Mother's Vagina" under the guidance of Amy Chaffee. 

 

Her Off-Stage/Off-Camera positions have included:Director, Associate Producer, Casting, Electrical Department, Set Construction, Catering, Wardrobe, Wigs, DIT, Media Management, Assistant Camera, Professional Clapper, and P.A..

 

Day Jobs include (but are not limited to): Construction Worker, Apple Sauce Wrestler, Waitress, Barrista, Temp, Aura Photographer, Landscaper, Minstrel,18th Century Reenactor, and General Contract Laborer.  She is a multi-instrumentalist and scrappy go-getter. Someday, she hopes to finish community college.
